Illinois added a much-needed headliner to its 2018 recruiting class on Friday with a pledge from Rivals250 offensive lineman Verdis Brown from IMG Academy in Florida.
The long-time Illini recruiting target announced his decision at a press conference in his hometown Chicago, where he once played at Mt. Carmel High School.
