Illinois quarterback Luke Altmyer, a transfer from Ole Miss, spoke to the media on Thursday. Altmyer committed to Illinois back in December following a campus visit.

During his two seasons at Ole Miss, he completed 28-54 passes for 317 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. He saw action in just three games during the 2022 season.
