OrangeandBlueNews.com caught up with 2016 big man Isaac Humphries from La Porte (Ind.) La Lumiere School to get an updated on his recruitment.

La Lumiere was in Champaign Saturday night to take on St. Louis Christian Academy at Parkland C.C. Illini fans turned out for the game, and for good reason. The Lakers feature guard Jalen Coleman-Lands, an Illinois signee in the class of 2015.

Humphries, who is originally from Australia, ranks as the No. 26 prospect in the class of 2016 according to Rivals.com. The Illini have offered, along with Kansas. Illinois coach John Groce and assistant Dustin Ford were both in the gym on Saturday to catch La Lumiere in action.
