Olalere Oladipo has a top six of Illinois, Duke, Indiana, Cal, Michigan State and Penn State.

Of the schools in his top six that Oladipo has recently visited, Illinois is the latest. The Illini had a Thursday visit along with some of the other top prospects in the state.

“The visit was good. I got to hang with the other recruits and my quarterback came along too,” Oladipo said.

Oladipo is heading into his senior season for Huntley, but has a few weeks of down time, his team starts practice up again on August 9th.

So first, Oladipo is enjoying visits to some of his top schools.

“The best part of the visit was hanging with all the recruits, spending more time with the coaches, and touring the campus more,” Oladipo said.

Of course, Oladipo had his eyes and ears open while visiting the Illini this time around.

“I got a new perspective of the program. I was able to see how serious they are about making the program great again” Oladipo said.

Now that Oladipo has narrowed his list down to six, he’s hoping to make a decision sometime in the month of August. But in the meantime, he’s focusing on his quickly upcoming senior season.

“I am excited about grinding with my bros and hopefully making a run to the state title,” Oladipo said.
