Illinois currently has five open scholarships for the 2-24-25 season. They hold a commitment from Rivals150 forward Morez Johnson from Harvey (Ill.) Thornton, the No.31 prospect in the class.

The Illini will look to add a true point guard, a big wing / shooter, and another big man to compliment Johnson.
