Okoro concentrating on getting better, not recruiting

MEQUON, Wis. – The sheer size and physique of Francis Okoro is striking. High school kids are not supposed to look like this.

Despite having two years of high school left at Normal West, Okoro would not look out of place if you saw him check into a Big Ten game right now. With broad shoulders and standing 6-9 ½, 230 pounds, Okoro looks the part of big time prospect.

However, he’s actually just getting started on the court. Okoro’s 4-star (32nd overall) ranking in the class of 2019 speaks to the potential that comes with outstanding size and a work ethic to match. After moving from Nigeria three years ago and bouncing around different states, Okoro is in just his third year of playing basketball.
