In-state athlete Hall visits Illinois
Homewood (Ill.) Flossmoor athlete and current Northern Illinois commit Justin Hall made the trip to Champaign over the weekend to watch the Illini take on Indiana at Memorial Stadium.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound two-star prospect sent his highlight film to the Illinois coaches after the conclusion of his season, and the staff invited him and his coaches to the game. Hall was only able to stay for the first half, but he was satisfied with how the day went.
“It was nice,” Hall said. “I first got down there and was greeted by my host. We got there, had some breakfast, and then got to talk to some of the players before they went onto the field for the game. I got to catch up with some of my friends - Ricky Smalling and Cam Thomas - and it was fun to see them. And watching the game, they battled on the field, and I thought it was really cool to see them play.”
