Illinois coach Brad Underwood wanted to add size to his roster, and he did just that with a commitment on Tuesday from under-the-radar big man Greg Eboigbodin from Detriot (Mich.) University of Detroit Jesuit.
Eboigbodin averaged around 14 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks per game during his senior season. He previous signed with UIC last fall, but was given a release by the school.
Eboigbodin joins guard Trent Frazier, Mark Smith, and Da'Monte Williams in the Illini's class of 2017. The Illini also added Wright State transfer Mark Alstork.
