One of the hottest prospects in the Midwest, Adeoye has picked up offers from LSU, Ole Miss, Iowa, Oklahoma and numerous others.

Adeoye isn't ready to name any favorites.

"I really don't want to say yet," Adeoye said. "I'm going to try to take other visits. I'm going to get to LSU and Ole Miss. Iowa soon also, and some other schools."

He's on a visit to Kentucky this weekend (Feb. 25), and has already visited Missouri as well as Illinois.

The trip to Illinois went well, according to Adeoye.

"It was cool," he said. "We had a tour around the school and got to talk to Lovie Smith. I really liked the coaches."

Running backs coach Thad Ward recruits St. Louis for Illinois, and he heads things up in the Illini's pursuit of Adeoye.

Hardy Nickerson is also heavily involved, and Adeoye got to spend some time talking with the Illinois defensive coordinator on his visit.

He said they could really use me, he likes my style of play, and he likes how I can move from sideline-to-sideline," Adeoye said.

Adeoye plans to graduate from high school December and be an early enrollee at the next level. His plan to trim his list this fall and make a final decision after his high school season.
