West Mesquite (Texas) three-star safety Dayven Coleman was one of several Texas prospects in Champaign for an official visit this weekend.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect was hosted by Jamal Woods, Isaiah Gay, and Bobby Roundtree, but he was also able to spend time with several of his buddies from back home as well.

“My favorite part of the weekend was being down there with all three of my boys – Calvin Avery, Kievan Myers, and Kevyon Davis,” Coleman said. “But I just enjoyed it all – getting to know the coaches, the players, and Champaign. I liked the visit a lot, and it was cool with it being my first time ever out there.”
