Horton-Tucker enjoying attention from new Illini staff
Chicago Simeon wing Talen-Horton Tucker is enjoying the attention he is getting from new Illini coach Brad Underwood and his staff.
The Illini have had a coach courtside at all of his games this spring and they extended him an offer.
"I really like this new staff,” Horton-Tucker said. “I talk to them a lot more. The last group didn't say much to me. The new staff is honest and real down to earth guys.”
Horton-Tucker is averaging 11 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists this spring for the 17U Mac Irvin Fire, teaming with top Illini target Ayo Dosunmu.
