There were double-digit players from St. Louis Trinity Catholic in attendance on Saturday as the Illini took on Rutgers at Memorial Stadium.

Among those players was 6-foot-1, 190-pound inside linebacker Shammond Cooper, who was excited to take in the Big Ten battle.

“We had a nice little ride here and I’m looking forward to watching some football, so it’s going great so far,” Cooper said before the game. “Now I am just waiting for this game to start and see if Illinois can pull off the win. I am just hoping to see a good game.”
