Four-star athlete Beason is first Illini commitment of 2019
Illinois coach Lovie Smith landed a big commitment from his home state of Texas with a pledge from four-star athlete Marquez Beason from Dallas (Texas) Bishop Dunne.
Beason commitment to Illinois after making a surprise trip to Champaign on Saturday for an unofficial visit. He is the first commitment for Illinois in the class of 2019.
