DT Lee drawing spring looks

LaGrange Park (IL) Nazareth Academy junior defensive tackle recruit Isaiah Lee (6-foot-2, 280 pounds) is hoping that his strong winter camp performances carries over to this spring. Lee checks in and talks about his latest recruiting news and more in this update..

"We are on spring break this week," Lee said. "So a lot of the college coaches are waiting until next week to see us in school. A few coaches did come and watch one of my workouts on Wednesday."

Lee had coaches from both Bowling Green and Illinois watch him in person on Wednesday.

"I had a coach from Bowling Green and Illinois come and watch one of my workouts at EFT. They both had some good things to say about me after my workout. Both coaches didn't expect me to be as quick and as fast as I was in my workouts. Both coaches seem to be pretty interested in me and that they will stay in touch. Illinois said they really would want to see me at a camp this summer and show them what I can do live."

Lee is also expecting several college coaches to be in school starting next week.

"Wyoming, Ball State, Purdue and NIU have all been in touch and they all said they would be in school soon along with a lot more schools according to my coaches. NIU invited me to it's spring game on Saturday. I'm also going to the Under Armour camp this Sunday."

Does Lee have any summer camp plans set yet?

"I'm still undecided for now. I might end up going to a few of the satellite camps and Illinois for a camp. I really want to stay focused on my team and my upcoming season. It's going to be my last night school season and I really want to be there for my team this summer."

Isaiah Lee has scholarship offers from Illinois State, Central Michigan, North Dakota State and Colorado State.
