It has been an eventful eight days for Chicago Phillips tight end Jahleel Billingsley. The 6-foot-5, 230-pound junior prospect has received six new offers since last Thursday, one of them coming from the Illini.

“This offer means a lot coming from Illinois, because I grew up watching them since I was much younger,” Billingsley said. “It's always kind of been a big dream of mine to be able get an offer from them, so this offer means a lot for sure.”
