Chicago Simeon athlete Alante Brown was among the large group of visitors at Memorial Stadium this Saturday to watch the Illini face off against Rutgers.

The 5-foot-10, 170-pound junior prospect has been trying to plan a trip to Champaign for several weeks now, but was finally able to make this trip this weekend.

“It was a nice trip down here today, and it’s a beautiful day to watch Illinois play some football,” Brown said. “I’m just looking to get a feel and see how they play on offense, and then see how I could be a part of that team and what I could contribute.”
