Blue-chip lineman keeping all his options open

Chicago Harper offensive lineman Roland Martin will be one of the biggest recruits for whichever school he decides to attend, literally.
The 6-foot-6, 345-pounder is looking to play either left tackle or left guard in college.

"I'm looking at a lot of schools," Martin said.
"I can't really name any favorites right now because I don't know enough about all the schools."
"Miami(Fla.), Iowa, Michigan St., Nebraska, Illinois, and Tennessee are some schools that I know a lot about and that I like."
"I can't even tell you how many offers I have right now," said Martin.
"I've been offered by basically everyone that I've talked to."
Martin camped at Illinois and Northern Illinois this summer.
"I'm going to wait until the last possible minute to make a decision," said Martin.
"Education, great facilities, and the other players on the team are some of the things I'll be looking at."
So what does Martin like about Illinois?
"I like their offensive line coach (Harry Hiestand)," said Martin.
"I also like the defensive line coach that is recruiting me (Donnie Thompson). I like the school a lot too."
Martin's former teammate at Harper, Charles Myles, will be a freshman at Illinois in the fall. Will that weigh into his decision at all?
"Kind of, yes it will," said Martin.
"He's told me to go somewhere that has a good school with good academics."
"It wouldn't bother me to go somewhere that I didn't know anyone though."
