It has been a very eventful couple years for Dallas (Texas) Bishop Dunne defensive lineman Calvin Avery, but he is ready to mark the end of his high school career.

Avery and the rest of his Bishop Dunne classmates will officially graduate this upcoming Friday.

“I’ll say that Bishop Dunne has crafted me not only as a player, but as a young man,” Avery said. “I have changed a lot since I transferred from Skyline, and it was for the better. It hasn’t always been perfect, and I have make mistakes, but my experience has taught me that it’s up to you to learn from those mistakes and build.”
