Elmhurst (Ill.) Immaculate Conception 3-star outside linebacker Khali Saunders is one of the state’s top prospects for the class of 2019, and he is looking forward to proving himself on the field during his junior season.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound backer will have his first opportunity to do so this Friday, and he hopes it is the start of a special season once again.

"As a team, we want to make it to that state title game again, but we have to understand we must take it week-by-week and win each day,” Saunders said. “I personally just want to help my team win, whether that's making plays offensively, defensively, or even on the special teams."
