2020 running back Ty Jordan talks Illini offer
Illinois wide-receivers coach Andrew-Hayes Stoker reached out to West Mesquite (Texas) running back Ty Jordan last week, and the conservation ended with an offer to the 5-foot-9, 190-pound back.
The 2020 prospect, who also received an offer from Kansas just a few days prior, is excited with the recent developments in his recruitment.
“I was really excited about receiving the offer, because I know I have somewhere to go after high school, first of all,” Jordan said. “Most people don’t have this opportunity to begin with, so that’s exciting getting offers from both Illinois and Kansas. And then getting it from a school like Illinois is cool, because I know a little about them and that they’re trying to build something great. So, it’s just all very exciting for me.”
