Fort Worth (Texas) All Saints Episcopal senior wide-receiver Brendan Harmon made a verbal commitment to Rice back in August, but circumstances have become more complex over the past few months.
The 6-foot-5, 194-pound wide-out always intended to keep his options open, but he has even more to consider now that Rice fired its head coach early last week.
“Right now, I am definitely still committed to Rice,” Harmon said. “But, I just talked to my mom and my coach and told them I want to give everyone who has interest in me a look. Even if it is a program where I don’t really see myself right at, I still want to give them a look and keep my eyes open, because you just never know. So as far as Rice, I am still committed, but it’s just about keeping my other options open and making sure I make the right choice.”
