St. Louis RB is putting up big numbers

2016 running back Tre Bryant from St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers College HS is putting together a junior season that should earn him some power conference offers.
Thus far, the 5-foot-10, 191 pound Bryant currently has received interest from three Big Ten schools.

"As of now, Wisconsin, Purdue and Illinois are the top three schools recruiting me the hardest," Bryant said.
During Bryant's sophomore year, he experienced an injury that he feels is keeping the top notch programs from putting an offer on the table for him.
"I really believe the reason some schools haven't offered me is due to the fact that I missed all of last season due to a knee injury," Bryant said. "I had a meniscus tear. It hasn't affected my play, and I've gotten faster and stronger since last year."
There is no favorite list of schools for Bryant yet. He's looking to see which schools will pull the trigger and give him the offers he feels he deserves.
Bryant was recently on campus in Champaign to take in an Illini game, and he made a stop in Iowa City to check out the Hawkeyes. Bryant has another Big Ten trip planned, where he will get to see the Illini play on the road.
"I visited Illinois for their game against Texas State a couple weeks ago," Bryant said. "I had a lot of fun. They showed me the weight room and I got to be on the field during warm-ups. "I'm going to Wisconsin next weekend when they play Illinois. I'm excited about that visit."
Bryant has recovered well from his injury and is off to a strong start in his junior year. He has helped power the CBC Cadets to a 6-0 record and a No. 6 spot in the MSHSAA Class 6 rankings. No opponent has stayed within 30 points of CBC.
"I have 457 yards on 40 carries, average 11.4 yards per carry, and I have 10 touchdowns," Bryant said. "Like I said, I'm a lot stronger and faster than before."
Once the season is over for Bryant, he's looking to start making more visits to get a better feel for each of the schools recruiting him.
"I feel once they see I can stay healthy, they'll be more interested in me," Bryant said.
