Orange and Blue News recruiting reporter Beth Long was in Chicago on Friday to watch arch rivals Marist and Brother Rice. Marist prevailed 23-14 and currently ranks No. 8 in the Chicago Sun Times Super 25.

One underclassman that stood out was 2020 wide receiver Jadon Thompson. The sophomore grabbed four passes for 64 yards, including a 46-yard touchdown. Beth caught up with Thompson after the game.
