One of the Illin's top in-state targets in the 2019 class, Washington offensive lineman J.J. Guedet was back in Champaign on Tuesday for an unofficial visit.

Illinois offered Guedet last month and he took a trip to Illinois and watched a basketball game at State Farm Center. On the latest visit, Guedet got to spend more time getting to know the coaching staff, the program, and the school.

He spent considerable time with his potential position coach Luke Butkus.

"We talked to the whole offensive line staff then we had private meetings with Coach Butkus and Coach Smith," Guedet said. "We talked to the academic counselors and all the majors that they have and all the things I would be doing if I decided to go there. "
