MEQUON, Wis. – Coming into this weekend’s Swish N’ Dish Spring Warm Up event, it’s not as if DJ Carton was an unknown on the recruiting circuit. Carton, a point guard from Bettendorf, Iowa, is a 4-star prospect and ranked No. 51 in the class of 2019.
Still, Carton’s performance against big time competition was eye opening. On Friday night, Carton led his Quad City Elite team to an impressive victory over loaded Bradley Beal Elite. The 6-foot-3 Carton had 15 points and his one-handed dunk in between EJ Liddell and Francis Okoro had the gym buzzing for a few minutes.
