The Fighting Illini (1-0) welcome the North Carolina Tar Heels to Memorial Stadium Saturday night for a primetime showdown (6:42 p.m. CT kick on BTN).

North Carolina (0-1) fell to No. 18 Georgia 33-24 in their opening game of the season. QB Mitch Trubisky completed 24-40 passes for 156 yards. Elijah Hood and T.J. Logan combined for 152 yards rushing.

Saturday will be the fourth meeting between the Fighting Illini and North Carolina, and the second in Champaign. The Tar Heels defeated Illinois 48-14 last season in Chapel Hill.
