Class of 2020 athlete Teriyon “Mookie” Cooper of St. Louis (Mo.) Trinity Catholic was among the group of prospects from St. Louis who made the trip to Champaign over the weekend.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound prospect, who Illinois is recruiting to play running back, was able to partake in a weekend full of activities.

“On Saturday, we went out to eat first, and then we all just hung out with each other later that night,” Cooper said. “Sunday, we ate donuts at the U of I, had position meetings with the coaches, did a photo shoot, ate some lunch, and then went to the basketball game at the end.”
