Seward has a favorite
Cameron Seward is making the rounds this spring.
The three-star athlete from Atlanta, Ga., has made stops at Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, Duke and Cincinnati over the last month and has more trips planned.
Seward will trip to Boston College on April 6 and has been invited to Tennessee's spring game, which is also the same day as his prom.
So far the 6-foot-1, 190-pounder has landed scholarship offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Mississippi State, Central Florida and West Virginia.
"Recruiting has been going pretty well right now," Seward said. "Things have started to pick up. It's about that time of year where a lot of schools are having their spring practices and spring games. I'm getting a lot of invitations to come down to schools. Hopefully I'll be picking up a few more offers before it's all said and done so I'll be able to make a good decision."
Seward's visit to Mississippi State for junior day went exceptionally well this spring and catapulted the Bulldogs to the forefront in his recruitment.
"Mississippi State's really strong with me," Seward said. "Coach (Geoff) Collins is my recruiting coach and we have a great relationship. We're always in contact on Facebook messaging back and forth. I got to go to their junior day and got an even better opinion of them as a school. They're definitely a favorite I would say."
The Westminster standout attended MSU's 41-31 victory over Tennessee at Davis Wade Stadium last fall. That trip along with the relationship with the coaching staff has helped the Bulldogs in the process.
