Jankovic will visit SU

The recruiting class of 2012 is not going to be a big one for Syracuse, but they are going to have to fill up some key needs to be ready for the future. One of those positions is at forward and one prospect they are looking at is Stefan Jankovic.

Jankovic, 6-foot-9, 200 pounds has been getting looked at by the Orange for a few months now.

"Syracuse is recruiting me. They have been looking at me since the beginning of this year."

The Orange Coach in charge of recruiting Jankovic is Bernie Fine and that relationship he has with the coach is one item that he likes about the Orange hoops program.

"I have a solid relationship with Coach [Bernie] Fine. They're a big time program, solid team every year."

To get more familiar with the school a visit will be taken in a few weeks.

" I will be coming to visit in June. "I just want to see the campus, the facilities, talk with the coaches. Really just get to know Syracuse basketball more."

As a forward prospect Jankovic likes what the Orange have done with their forwards in the last ten years and it is something that makes him like the Orange a little more.

"The development of their forwards is one thing that I like. The reason I like that is because it is my position so I have to see how they developed there forwards."

Despite both sides being interested the forward prospect does not have a Syracuse offer.
"I have not got the offer yet no. It would be great to get one. I would definitely consider them even more. They are already high on my list so the offer would be the next step."

Where exactly are the Orange on his list?

"They are in my top six right now.

Syracuse joins a few teams from the ACC, Big 12, and a couple other Big East schools on the list.

"Right now I also like Wake Forest, West Virginia, Georgetown, Florida State, and Missouri."

This could be a busy summer for Jankovic as he will look to get to know his top schools.
