Charlotte (N.C.) Harding University athlete Walt Aikens represents a rarity on Illinois' current list of verbal commitments. The 6-foot-1, 183-pounder has yet to actually step foot on campus despite giving his word to Illini head coach Ron Zook several weeks ago. Aikens will remedy the situation with an official visit to Champaign-Urbana this weekend.
