Illinois defeated Quincy College by an 84-63 score on Sunday afternoon at Assembly Hall, behind 23 points from DJ Richardson, 11 from Brandon Paul and 10 from Alex Legion. In a game that was closer than the final score indicated, Illinois used a 27-8 run after Quincy had cut the lead to 54-53 with 10 minutes remaining to open up a 20 point lead and cruise to the win.
