Ruoff helps Huggins win first Big East game

WVSports.com MORGANTOWN-Alex Ruoff took advantage of a shorter defender to blow through four three-point shots in the second half as West Virginia hung a 79-64 victory on Marquette Sunday afternoon before 11,429 friendly Coliseum fans.
Ruoff finished the Big East game, WVU coach Bob Huggins' first ever Big East victory, with a game-high-tying 19 points. But none were more important than the 13 scores in the final 20-minute frame.
Ruoff, 6-foot-6, took advantage of sophomore transfer Maurice Acker, 5-10, of Marquette.
