The Longhorns were hoping their second meeting with the Kansas Jayhawks would be much like the first, a 25-point blowout by a sharp-shooting Texas team. But things were a lot different the second time around, this time with the Big 12 Tournament Championship hanging in the balance. The Horns couldn't put the ball in the hoop down the stretch, and Kansas ran away with an 80-68 victory and the post-season title.
