Oregon recruiting: Emphasis on versatility
If America runs on Dunkin, the Oregon Way runs on athletes. The current roster is riddled with them--versatile guys with athletic ability and speed, players who could line up three different places, win a track meet or finish in the top three in a summer basketball tournament. It's a long list: the Robinson brothers, Arik Armstead, Josh Huff, Bralon Addison, Chance Allen, Colt Lyerla, Dior Mathis, B.J. Kelley, DeForest Buckner, DeAnthony Thomas.
Linebacker Brett Bafaro was a pro prospect as a baseball player, hit over .500 in his senior year at Liberty High School in Hillsboro. Terrance Mitchell and Tyson Coleman were standout tailbacks in high school. Linebacker/safety Oshay Dunmore was an all-state quarterback as a prep, who happens to be one of the most promising decathletes in the nation.
