The Illini are currently down to 10 scholarship players for the 2012-13 season, and although there are some opportunities for them to still add players this spring, these 10 players are keys to success both in 2012-13 and beyond. The cupboard is not bare, despite the poor finish in 2012, even if the parts may not exactly fit the new system of John Groce.

In this report we look at and rank the 10 players based upon their importance and potential for growth as players heading into the 2012 season.
